台灣的製造業，不論機台、技術、設計水平都比泰國當地高出很多，只是因為當時台灣人力費用飆高，台商才漸漸地將廠房外移東南亞，因此近來才會需要台灣幹部在外地進駐，但是，為何老闆仍需要台灣人，而不全部都找當地泰國人就好呢?

１．專業度- 台灣人專業領先 vs 泰國人經驗少學習速率較低
通常會到海外設廠的公司，一定有相對的專業技術，
如：業務專業人才/會計/設計繪圖/機台工程師等等，無法一時教會泰國人，
公司因此需要派遣專業度夠的台灣人前往，才能幫公司立即爭取利潤。
２．語言- 台灣人外語強 vs 泰國人外語能力偏低
近來，台灣從小就開始學英文補習，(雖說是填鴨式教學 XD)，實際外語言程度比泰國當地人高出許多，在泰國當地的日商不少，因此同時會英日文在台商界是一大優勢。
平均來說，泰國人英文系畢業，程度可能也在TOEIC 600分左右而已，日文系畢業則是約N3程度左右。
３．工作態度 – 台灣人刻苦耐勞 vs 泰國人較樂觀慵懶
台灣人仍保有”年輕時好好打拚”，好好存錢以維持美滿家庭的觀念。
相較生性非常樂觀的泰國人，可以放假時，泰國人絕不工作；
甚至貸款先購買汽車、旅遊也屢見不鮮。

４．誠信 – 台灣人誠實 vs 泰國人品德問題
就我及幾位外派友人的觀察，以我們經歷的有限樣本數來說，台灣人在品格教育上仍領先泰國許多，
在道德上，泰國飛車搶劫、偷竊時有所聞，
在公司方面，實際上也有不少泰籍管理級員工圖利廠商以及收賄的現象。
５．會中文- 台灣人學泰文 vs 泰國人不學中文
來泰國設廠的老闆們，並非全都會說當地語言，
開會討論事情、做決策，還是以中文為主，
因此會中文是公司中的重要技能，然而悠哉的泰國人極少主動學習中文。
反觀來泰國的台灣人，除了會說中文，勢必得好好學習泰文才能生存，
因此外派泰國工作一陣子的台灣人，泰文都有一定程度。

Thai is relatively easy to pick up, and the content is well-structured. The key is to find a teaching style that suits you best—this applies to learning any language. The teacher’s style makes a huge difference! 😆

雖說泰國人為了脫貧漸漸也開始努力成長自己，不過台灣人還是贏在起跑點許多!
