海外工作近年非常蓬勃，隻身來到海外的外派工作者，剛到職時身邊通常都沒什麼朋友，必須想辦法拓展生活圈。除了解決海外孤獨感外，結交當地朋友也能增加許多知識交流的機會，那麼，如何在外派泰國當地拓展生活圈呢？

一．公司內的台灣同事
剛到泰國，一定不懂泰文，即使在台灣先學過，實際在泰國上戰場使用，也需要一段過渡期，因此，剛到泰國時，一定是先跟公司內的台灣人們交流、出遊較多，許多外派前輩都很願意敞開心胸，帶領新進人員的。
二．台灣同事的泰國朋友圈/公司內部的泰國人
接下來，在泰國待一陣子的台灣人，必定會有一定他們認識的泰國友人，若工作上有接觸，或興趣相同，很快就會認識一掛泰國生活圈的朋友，朋友的朋友，圈圈一直擴大！
同時別忘了也能與公司內的泰國朋友熟識
來泰國一段時間後，有點泰語基礎後，就會開始結識同部門的泰國同事，開始拓展泰國當地生活圈，而不只是外派圈的同鄉人。

If you're looking for structured Thai language courses or study materials, here are some recommended resources:
- Udemy Thai Courses (Taught in English)
- Hahow好學校泰文課(中文授課)- I'm lucky to have Thai teachers and colleagues who help me learn the language. If you don’t have access to a Thai-speaking environment or local friends/teachers, I highly recommend these two well-reviewed courses on Hahow. Thai is relatively easy to pick up, and the content is well-structured. The key is to find a teaching style that suits you best—this applies to learning any language. The teacher’s style makes a huge difference! 😆
三．客戶
客戶分為泰國當地客戶及其他國家外商客戶。
1. 泰國籍客戶
泰國人個性上原本就好客，因此很快很可跟泰國客戶成為好友，但泰國地大，客戶通常位在距離遙遠的地方，要培養到長成非常要好的友誼關係，需要很長一段時間。
2. 外國籍客戶
其他國家外商的客戶來說，背景較相近，比較容易成為好友。
舉日商來說，許多派駐泰國的日本人，本身也需要交友圈，時常呼朋引伴相約釣魚、打Golf in Thailand、喝酒；舉歐美人士來說，喜歡喝啤酒、海邊聚餐烤肉等，若自己喜歡也會這些活動，很容易與這些同在海外打拚的人們交心，成為好友。
四．網路社群
泰國網路使用漸漸興起，在曼谷市區，用Meetup、Couchsurfing、FB 外派社團等網路社交軟體，可以遇到許多外派來泰國的各國人，及想與外國人接觸或想學外語的泰國當地人，通常這些人教育程度較高，是結交長期朋友的好族群。

2. Couchsurfing – 世界上最大旅遊社交平台
Couchsurfing 介面如下，旅客佔比較高，也有很多長居泰國的外國人或泰國人，往下拉有各種event可參加 
3. FB ／Line 外派人士社團
Expats in Thailand、Expats in Thailand (Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Hua Hin, Phuket)、THAILAND EXPATS，這三個較大較活躍，很多當地泰國生活工作資訊可以交流
當然在Line等，有社團之處，比照辦理搜尋也會找到不少(關鍵字是: expat、外派、等) 
五．興趣培養、上課
學習自己有興趣的新技能，例如：烹飪、舞蹈、泰拳….等，也是認識異國新朋友的好方式。泰國市郊比較少，但在曼谷市區，已經有許多各種教室，投資一些時間在自己新的興趣，並同步認識其他各行各業的人們。
除了休閒類課程，我也會上專業類課程，跟外派人士交流時專業上話題也能跟得上；在泰國時我都會在，Udemy（英語上課）、Hahow好學校（中文上課）、知識衛星(中文上課-大師精品課)，線上平台，五星好評的課通常都非常實用，三不五時充實自己。
